The Exploration and Mining Division (EMD) of the Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources (DCMNR) is charged with the promotion, regulation and policy development of mineral exploration and extraction.
Since 2001, EMD has progressively made much of its non-confidential spatial data publicly available as part of the Division’s ‘Data Release Programme.’ Customers can use this tool to visualize and interactively query a wealth of exploration and mining information, without the need for specialist hardware, software or training.
