Applications for PLs can also be made by sending a completed application form, accompanied by a fee of €190 per Prospecting Licence Area, to:-

All payments must be in Euro, and cheques and bank drafts should be drawn on a bank branch located in the Republic of Ireland. Cheques and bank drafts should be made payable to “The Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources” and endorsed “Account payee only.”
