Expert Advice on Review of Irish Petroleum Licensing Terms (Indecon Report)
On Wednesday 1 August 2007 Mr. Eamonn Ryan, Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural resources announced changes to the licensing terms for oil and gas exploration and development. These changes are detailed in the press release issued on that date. The revised fiscal terms will apply in the case of exploration licences awarded since 1 January 2007.
