In order to promote and assist effective petroleum exploration, the Petroleum Affairs Division of the Department Communications, Marine and Natural Resources makes available to bonafide exploration companies a range of technical information relating to the Irish offshore, as soon as the confidentiality period has expired (Generally no more then five years from acquisition).
The information consists of:
- well data
- seismic data
- gravity and magnetic data
- technical studies
In addition, access to samples (cuttings, cores, fluids) may be arranged.
Information relating to available Irish petroleum E&P data can be accessed through the following online databases.
