Business Case for E-Commerce Infrastructure Project
Piercom proposed the implementation of an e-commerce infrastructure to provide affordable products and services to enable SMEs with common e-commerce needs and individual SMEs to avail of the benefits of a local e-commerce community infrastructure.
The proposal involved forming a partnership with CVA where Piercom would develop and host the solution which would be initially used to support CVA's business requirements. CVA required a computerised contact management information system to support their ongoing business needs.

E-Business Solution
Piercom built a tailored web site for CVA and hosts the contact management application supporting CVA's needs. The product and service offering comprises the following ASP services:
- Tailored web site including a home page
- Contact Management (eCRM) Application
- Hosting of contact management application
- Managed application database
- Provision of technical support to enable further e-commerce to be transacted from the site in the future
