Congratulations to everybody involved in the launch of the Department’s Braille Service.
This initiative will be of great benefit to all our customers, especially to those who have visual impairments. As we know, people are accessing information in a variety of different ways. It’s important to consider the communication needs of all our customers. Providing a service in a Braille format is a very important step in reaching out to many people who would otherwise not be able to access information from the department.
The Department deserves congratulations as well, because we are the first Department to provide such a service.
