Key Responsibilities
Katherine Licken (Principal Officer)
- Policy formulation in regard to the Irish National Petroleum Corporation (INPC) and National Oil Reserves Agency (NORA) and corporate governance / management of issues relevant to Department's role as shareholder.
- Management of overall arrangements relating to Ireland's international obligations under the EU and International Energy Agency (IEA) with regard to strategic stockholding of oil.
- Development of oil contingency response arrangements.
Kilda Taylor (Assistant Principal Officer)
- Corporate governance of INPC and NORA and residual issues relating to INPC arising from the sale of its businesses and commercial assets in 2001.
- Participation in EU/IEA policy fora.
- Liaison with EU/IEA on stockholding obligations and development of Bilateral Stockholding Agreement programme.
Kevin Broderick (Higher Executive Officer)
- EU/IEA statistical reporting and participation in EU/IEA policy fora.
- Liaison with EU/IEA on stockholding obligations and development of Bilateral Stockholding Agreement programme.
- Reviewing/updating oil contingency response arrangements.
- Audits of oil and consumer companies to ensure compliance with the NORA levy.
Maura Begley ( Executive Officer)
- Assisting in Corporate governance relating to the INPC/NORA.
- Providing assistance in regard to the resolution of outstanding issues arising from the sale of the INPC's businesses and commercial assets in 2001.
Danny Lennon (Executive Officer)
- Collection and processing of data on oil stocks, consumption and prices and production of regular reports and returns to the EU /IEA.
- Responses to questionnaires from EU/ IEA and queries from the public
Keith Hussey (Clerical Officer)
- Provision of regular statistical reports to the EU /IEA on oil stocks, consumption and prices
- General queries and clerical support to the Division.
- Updating web page relating to the Division.
