The Energy Efficiency and Affordability Division is responsible for negotiation of certain EU legislative measures concerning energy efficiency, their transposition into Irish law and their enforcement. However, in some instances other Departments may have the policy lead, depending on the nature and subject matter of the legislative measure concerned. |
