Electricity Transmission Assets Analysis
Consultants were appointed to carry out an independent analysis on the electricity transmission assets, including costs, benefits and regulatory impact assessment, set in the context of EU developments and the all island single electricity market. All key stakeholders have inputted to this process including the management and unions of ESB and EirGrid, the ESB ESOT, as well as the CER and Department of Finance. Mr Fergus Cahill was the independent chair appointed by the Minister to the process.
