Our mission in the Staff Development Unit (SDU) is to provide staff with the opportunity, resources and support for continuous business and personal development, and in so doing, to facilitate the achievement of the Department's goals. To this end, our new training programme reflects the identified needs of the Department.
We embrace the statement that staff are our greatest asset and acknowledge that in this period of accelerated change that training is no longer a choice, but a necessary part of how we develop as individuals and as an organisation. We believe, that when properly delivered, training is an investment and not a cost.
