To promote and operate a culture of value for money and continual evaluation of our performance in a measureable, transparent and accountable manner. To provide staff training and deliver the Public Service Reform Agenda whilst providing a high quality service to our customers and stakeholders.
The Unit is responsible for the following:
- Management and administration of Freedom of Information;
- Staff training and development;
- Quality customer service;
- Other Corporate Support - Ombudsman queries, AIE requests, Departmental Sectoral Plan under Disability Act 2005, Corporate Governance of the Mining Board, North/South issues, National Policy issues, EPA, Planning and Strategic Environmental Assessments.
