Corporate Service Unit:
The Services Unit manages the ongoing and emerging accommodation needs of the Department. It also manages the supplies and services of the Department, including the operation of the Departments travel desk functiions, with a view to achieving the best value for money in areas of expenditure that can yield greater efficiencies and economies.
The Unit also oversees the implementation of the Health and Safety Act 2005 in respect of DCENR staff, customers and the general public. To raise awarness on health and safety issues and to facilitate relevant and appropriate training to designated safety personnel as required.
