Corporate Governance & Central Coordination Unit

This unit coordinates the Department's response to a wide variety of requests for information which requires input from across a range of the different business units. It also provides Department representation at a range of interdepartmental groups covering issues such as State Aid, Better Regulation, EU and related issues. The unit liaises on an ongoing basis, with other Government Departments as required.

The unit is also responsible for oversight of matters related to the governance of the commercial and non-commercial state-sponsored bodies under the aegis of the Department. It provides an advisory and support role line Divisions and the Management Committee, as well as coordinating the Department's response to matters arising in this regard.
