Information Society Commission (ISC)
The Information Society Commission (ISC) operated as an independent advisory body reporting to the Department of the Taoiseach until its remit ended at the end of 2004. The ISC produced a range of reports - these have been provided in this archive for convenience and as a way of maintaining an on-line access to them. The reports and any opinions expressed in these reports and publications are those of the ISC and not necessarily of this Department.
World Summit on the Internet Society (WSIS)
The World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) was held in two phases. The first phase took place in Geneva hosted by the Government of Switzerland from 10 to 12 December 2003, and the second phase took place in Tunis hosted by the Government of Tunisia, from 16 to 18 November 2005.
