Structure of the Communications Sector
The Communications sector within the Department is divided into three divisions, namely the Business and Technology Division, the Communications Development and Electronic Commerce Division and the Postal and Regulatory Division. Each division has its own separate objectives and responsibilities, which enables the Department to continue to play a proactive role in the development of Ireland as a globally competitive information and knowledge society.
