The role of the Business and Technology Division is to...

  • Create and develop policy and legislation particularly in the areas of Internet, Fixed Networks, Convergence, Radio Spectrum, Broadcast Networks, Satellite and Mobile.
  • Create and develop policy and legislation in regard to convergence of the above networks.
  • Create and implement funding initiatives around new technologies and new uses of existing technologies.
  • Develop professional expertise in Business and Technology issues across the entire Communications sector to inform general policy.
