Q: Is there a scheme for the funding of Community Radio in Ireland
A: The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland (which has been replaced by the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) after the enactment of the Broadcasting Act, 2009) in conjunction with The Community Radio Forum of Ireland recently reviewed the Community Radio Support Scheme.Following this review, the Commission has announced a significant increase in the funding being made avaiable to the community radio sector.
